Kelvin is 9 months old!

Kelvin is 9 months old! He's growing so fast. He loves to eat, both breastmilk and table food, especially meat. We haven't found a meat that he doesn't like yet! He rolls from back to front as soon as he's put down on the floor and does the inchworm to reach what he wants. He also pushes himself backwards on the hardwood floor and spins around. He hasn't figured out how to crawl yet. He sits for a long time but hasn't figured out how to get to his belly from a sitting position yet either. Ada likes to push him over when he's sitting and he's learned how to fall gracefully (well, sometimes). He loves going for walks, swinging and sliding at the park, and just watching Ada do whatever she's doing. He also looks to the TV whenever music is playing, even if it's not coming from the TV. His newest trick is blowing kisses which he does in response to someone else blowing kisses to him, whenever we say goodbye or goodnight, and randomly.

Kelvin is such an easygoing little guy. He will sit and play by himself for long stretches, as long as someone is nearby. He's pretty content to sit in the stroller while Ada plays at the park. He sleeps decently, waking up a time or two most nights. Typically he just eats and goes back to sleep though sometimes he thinks it's time to play.

We had a pretty busy stretch in mid-April where we traveled up to the Madison WI area for my cousin's baby shower, came home for two nights, and then traveled back up to Wisconsin for my grandma's funeral in Cochrane and then to celebrate Easter in Oshkosh. Kelvin did pretty well with all the travel, minus the one night at my aunt's house when the two of us slept in a chair in the living room.

Our other big news is that we have an accepted offer on a condo...our first home purchase! It's been a really exciting and very stressful process. Kelvin has seen every place we've looked at (Ada missed out on a couple, including the one that *fingers crossed* will be our new home).
