The Friday before Memorial Day my manager and I signed up for the Walt Disney Marathon Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge. We'll run the half marathon on Saturday and then the full marathon on Sunday. This will be my first full marathon! I'm super excited but also a little nervous. We set our goal time to be 5 hours, 45 minutes...so nothing spectacular. Shannon ran the Disney Princess Half Marathon a couple years ago and said it was a really laid back and fun race...so we're just going to have fun with it...and hopefully finish within the 16 minute/mile time limit!
Crazy...maybe. Nuts...maybe. Goofy...definitely!

We sold our car!
On Wednesday, May 30th, 2012 we sold our car. That 2006 Honda Civic had
served us well, for over 90,000 miles. We are now officially car-less
and no longer have to pay $235/month for parking...yay!
I honestly think we'll really like being car-less...plus, I now owe less than $10,000 on my graduate school loans...woohoo!!!
